College Hosts Our Student Journey Conference

More than sixty students from the United Colleges Group have taken part in a conference aimed at improving the student experience.

Students from across the group were invited to share their thoughts, feelings, and opinions with staff in a productive and collegiate way throughout the discussion which was themed around Our Student Journey.

Attendees were encouraged to share what they thought about their student journey through college and give their honest and frank feedback.

The students’ views will be shared with staff in order to allow them to improve the student journey at both City of Westminster College and College of North West London.

As part of the wide-ranging and thorough discussion, students discussed values, priorities, teaching methods, and many other aspects and facets of life at college.

The United Colleges Group is proud of its record of engaging with its students and commits itself to actioning points raised and to continuing to create an environment in which student feedback is valued.

Stephen Davis, Group Principal and CEO of the United Colleges Group, said:

“Engaging in positive and constructive dialogue with our students is vitally important to us at the United Colleges Group.

“It’s only by listening and working together with our students that we can be sure of delivering the best possible education and services to those who study with us.

“I’d like to thank the staff and students involved in making this conference possible and congratulate them on a job very well done.”
